Another reason to hate Sony

Yesterday I got the "new XboX experience. It's nice looking and they've added a few nice features, but the biggest thing was the ability to stream Netflix movies to my xbox. The problem is though that not all movies can be streamed. Well all can except for sony films. Sony has blocked all their movies right now from being streamed through the xbox, even though you can still watch them on your pc. Way to go Sony.

Sheild Your Eyes

On Saturday I went to the Maryland Irish Festival. It's held down at the Timonium fairgrounds for the entire weekend. It's a normal festival type thing with food, vendors, and live music. I went down with Catie and her parents. It was really fun. I had never been to one of this size and it was neat to see all the food, clothing and jewelery that they had. I was able to get a nice glass that I could drink out of all day.

I also broke down and bought a kilt while I was there. Yeah I'm serious about this. Check it out.

See for real

And a close up for you to go blind to.

For St. Patrick's day I'll be adding my own twist to it. Check back in a few months to see.

It's about time...

Way to go America, on that note way to go Ohio, and PA. We finally may have a chance to do something different in this country. 338 to 156 what else is there to say. The people, no matter how many McCain and Nobama signs I saw, have spoken and seem to say "hey we've had enough of this, lets try to move forward". It's a nice change to see the person I voted for win. I feel a sense of relief for the country right now.

Now I'm not saying that everything is going to magically change by summer 09, but I think that depending on the cabinet some things can start to move forward. Go read Joe Fourhman's post about the election. I follow his feelings a bit in that I didn't completely hate McCain. I did however HATE Palin. I'm glad that she'll be gone for a bit. I'm sure she'll sho her head again, let it be 4 or 8 years.

To put this simply I'm glad for what happened yesterday. I think that things will be bumpy for a bit, but in the long run of all this it will be a great thing for America. I think that this is a chance to show other countries that we're not a bad country, just one that has lost its course. This is an exciting time and I hope that it all ends well.

Lets see if I lose any friends over this post. I did 4 years ago over these (I was a little hot headed back then).

Once again CONGRATS AMERICA! I'm truely proud of you today.

What?

It's Saturday night. I just got home from work, made dinner, and sat down to watch some TV. I browse through my tivo to see what on and think "Hey I should record SNL for Catie". So I turn to channel 11 to see who's on. I scroll down and notice this is listed for the 11 o'clock news.

No clue why, but it's funny.
