Time to get fit

It's saturday night, your best friend has been in Philly all day, your girlfriend is sleeping already and you don't want to leave her because she has a bum neck and is laid up for the weekend. What should you do??

I know what I did. I played Wii Fit. Yup I got it today. I got a copy from Catie's brother's finance. She had ordered a copy for him, but he went and bought it himself. Works for me.

I got in got Catie all set up and then went to get Wii Fit setup. For those that don't know Wii Fit is the new fitness game for the Wii (duh) that uses a balance board to control numerous exercises. Activities are grouped into one of 4 categories. Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics, and Balance Games. The three are all mainly exercises while balance games are more games then anything else.

When you start you choose you Mii and then go through a "body test" this is a short test that will give you what the Wii thinks your weight, BMI, and Wii age are. It said that my BMI was 25 which is slightly overweight (which makes your Mii look funny) and that my age was 28 which is correct. After I got that set up I played a couple balance games, some aerobic things and a short run. The games are kind of fun and the few aerobics that I did got me moving. Although I haven't played the game all that much I see the potential in it. If you are someone that wants to get a fun workout in and know how to put one together then this is a fun game. If you are looking for just a game then this will probably bore you fairly quick. Myself...I'm going to enjoy myself for a good time with this.

WATCHING...

The Orphanage: A great film directed by J.A. Bayona and produced by Guillermo del Toro. A ghostly story about a mother and her adopted son. Good story, filmed well everything was good until the last 10 minuets. Go watch it and let me know what you think.

The Strangers:
Ok I know that everyone wanted this to be the big scary film right now, but really it wasn't scary at all. Liv Tyler should not have been the main character in this film. It just didn't seem to ever pick up enough momentum. I can't really say much else about it.
